Charity Fund Distribution
The Club Cruceros Charity Committee vets local charities and brings recommendations to the Board of Directors. Each year the Club finds a wide variety of ways in which to help. Each month, each season, brings new opportunities to lend a helping hand, and the club rises to the occasion, time and again. To ensure the groups chosen use the donation wisely the Club makes every effort to only donate goods. If the charity requires cash the funds are usually contributed with the stipulation that receipts be provided. In some instances cash scholarship donations are made.

Schoolchildren Receive Aid
This report from Sandy Elterich, Club Cruceros Treasurer:
For the second year Club Cruceros is sponsoring four schoolchildren who would not be able to attend school without help. The club purchased uniforms, school supplies, shoes, backpacks and tuition. This year we spent $14,002 pesos for two sets of uniforms, a PE uniform, a pair of tennis shoes, a backpack, required school supplies, and tuition for each student. The students are required to supply their report cards to the club and to achieve a 7 in all subjects on a 0 to 10 point basis.
May, 2016 - Club Cruceros Board voted to donate 2,670 pesos to help pay for the necessary upgrades to the water system at Mamá Benita's children and adult shelter.
