- Water Restored: Complete Monday or Tuesday (Mostly Restored)

9/20/14 Airports
- The Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) did not suffer runway/infrastructure damage. There was damage to terminals and control tower. Now closed for repairs. Projected to open Sept 26, 2014.
- The smaller CSL Airport did not suffer damage to the runways – operational daytime only.
Utilites
- More than 1500 CFE (Electrical) workers working to restore power - Power has already been restored to 65% of Los Cabos.
- Telmex restored telecommunications (telephone, internet) to 100% of the area and no more lines at the gas stations.
- Water has been restored to about 40% of normal capacity. They are testing the desalination plant and expect full water recovery this week.
Security
- After a couple of days of much publicized looting of stores, official sources report things are under control with over 1500 military units keeping the peace. Rumors of a jailbreak were just that – untrue rumors.
Businesses Update
- Baja Cantina Marina, Mango Cantina, La Davina, Cabo Cantina, Solomon's Landing, Mango Deck, Cabo Blue and Captain Tony's are serving food, drinks, smiles and hugs. Many other restaurants will remain closed until tourists return as majority of their guests were tourists. Beach vendors being spotted again.
- 6 bank branches have reopened – plus 3 ATMs. Several gas stations are open. 6 of 19 grocery and department stores have reopened, including Wal-Mart.
- MOST Cabo San Lucas fishing charters are ready to go fishing. Just waiting for the Port Captain to give the all clean PORT OPEN.
- Now that power has been restored to the IGY Marina, cleanup can begin.
- East Cape and La Paz report mostly clean up of flying debris and are mostly back to normal operations.
Humanitarian
- Hundreds of tons of food and water have arrived to the area – brought in by land and sea and are being distributed. The Mexican CRUZ ROJA Red Cross is leading the effort together with the military. There are thousands of homeless in the colonies.
